NICE. I even thought of the same idea for the exhaust for my drawing of an OC's Corvette ZR1.

I used cinema 4d for this project , I had one crappy side view drawing for inspiration as a reference but for some reason the energy was there :D

it looks great! i have dabbled in a little bit of 3D modeling here and there mostly on bryce.. i have been looking for a good somewhat simple modeling program. I have tried 3D studio Max but it was just too complicated, i have looked up a few tutorials on cinema 4D and it looks like its a program that is allot easier to understand.. if you have any good links to some auto modeling tutorials video or text that would be awesome =)

Cinema 4D is one of the most user friendly packages out there and one of the most powerful out of the box in terms of render quality but of course that is always debatable and will be debated by the fans personally I have tried most of them and I always felt the most comfortable in Cinema 4D , unfortunately there aren't many automotive tutorials for cinema 4d I always found that very frustrating but I realise now that it didn't matter if it was a car or a tree there is always something to learn from a tutorial the important thing to learn is how to use your tools and the shortcuts which is the key to any 3D work to save time without shortcuts things can be tedious just like you I would simply google cinema 4d tutorials there are heaps on utube and c4d cafe but one of the best places to go for cinema 4d tutorials is Nick Campbell's website greyscalegorilla this guy is a c4d god !!! anything you need to know is there plus he has many links to other awesome cinema 4D artists tutorials you wont be disappointed he is also just a cool guy !!

I hope this helps all the best :D

OMG thank you! that cafe site is blowing my mind!! the animation possibilities are ENDLESS!! =D i have been looking for a decent animation program for YEARS! bryce is just way too limited for both modeling and animation the xpresso animation window is mind blowing! thank you so much for the info! soon i shall have some models and animations going ;)

True, that is. Great work. I wish they had kept the car that is my icon as the Corvette C7... I liked it. I don't like the new one. Too ugly. The original C7 concept that is my icon actually was the 2005 Corvette Stingray concept. I have a model of it on my desk. ^_^ It's a sweet looking car. But I like this one too. Much more like the current C6.

Thanks mate I am surprised how much attention this concept has got throughout the internet but the corvette guys are busting for something right now and the Jalopnik concept seems to have the majority turned off and most would prefer the stingray concept I also love the stingray concept but there are a couple of things that bug me about it overall though it is how we want the C7 to look fresh and modern I guess I tried to give this concept a fresh modern feel with a bit of euro flavor to entice some of the Italian's over to Chevy lol but for this design I only wanted to take one step forward from the C6 rather than 2 or 3

thanks for commenting :D

Lol, yup. Oh, and the 2005 concept DOES have the circle tail lights. If you look closely at the rear of the car, you can see two red circle like blobs behind the mesh. ^_^

Np. :D You're work is always worth commenting on.
